Sub floor works
To achieve a perfect finish subfloor works are imperative.
If your subfloor is concrete and the relative humidity level below 75% then a smoothing compound would need applying prior to laying the floor covering. If your floor levels need bringing up I can do this with either latex or a combination of latex and chippings. If you are having issues with damp or live in an older property then you may need either a moisture suppressant or damp proof membrane prior to other works taking place. If your subfloor is floorboards it would be necessary to fix SP101 flooring grade plywood to them to create a completely smooth substrate prior to laying a floor covering.
